The Carrefour Indonesia program is by far the largest gift card program in Indonesia, a country of more than 250 million people with fast-growing buying power. In 2010, Carrefour decided to renew its range of cards for sale to individuals and corporate clients. They decided that the technology already in use was not adapted to the millions of cards issued every month. We were looking for a technology that supports our aspirations for innovation and modernity, while expressing quality as part of Carrefour’s identity. We were looking to create a cheerful, dynamic range of products suitable for every life occasion, and adapted to our new merchandising strategy. CARREFOUR MAF is the regional operation for Carrefour – the world’s second biggest retailer after Walmart. It currently operates hypermarkets, supermarkets and convenience stores in 19 countries in the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia. Recently, CARREFOUR MAF also started operations in Russia. Since 2010, we have used Ogloba for our cross-border closed loop giftcard and eVoucher programs.
With Ogloba, we have a comprehensive solution that enables us to issue and redeem our own local gift cards in each of the 19 countries in which we currently operate. We customize giftcards for local needs and utilize the central Ogloba solution for swift inventory management, B2B orders, and reports. We are able to have the right giftcard at the right time, in the right quantity in the right store. Since 2010, Western Union has engaged Ogloba to develop and maintain a fast track money transfer solution. The software facilitates money transfer transactions for pre-registered customers, and for non-registered customers who can become registered immediately and stage a transaction in lane. The solution allows for the collection of required ID information and communicates with multiple legacy systems at Western Union. AXIOM TELECOM (Dubai, UAE) We are the main strategic partner of DU telecom in the UAE, and Mobily in Saudi Arabia. We operate around 900 of our own retail outlets, as well as through about 15,000 independent merchants and retailers in the Middle East. CARREFOUR MAF is the regional operation for Carrefour – the world’s second biggest retailer after Walmart. It currently operates hypermarkets, supermarkets and convenience stores in 19 countries in the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia. Recently, CARREFOUR MAF also started operations in Russia. Since 2010, we have used Ogloba for our cross-border closed loop giftcard and eVoucher programs.
With Ogloba, we have a comprehensive solution that enables us to issue and redeem our own local gift cards in each of the 19 countries in which we currently operate. We customize giftcards for local needs and utilize the central Ogloba solution for swift inventory management, B2B orders, and reports. We are able to have the right giftcard at the right time, in the right quantity in the right store. Cards are activated during the sales process at the checkout and we have online reports to show us activation and redemption performance.
Besides our giftcard solution, we also use Ogloba for our eVoucher sales. The Carrefour operations in each country purchase prepaid products from the local mobile operators and other prepaid vendors, and load these into our central eWarehouse here in Dubai. When an end-user in Egypt wants to buy a mobile eVoucher, it is delivered in real time to the particular cash-register and printed within seconds. To increase sales, we hang dummy cards with a barcode at the checkout lane which encourages impulse purchases. No local inventory, no scratch cards, no reconciliation issues, no fraud. What we are good at
Ogloba provides GSM mobile operators, large retail organizations, and distributors with a complete financial and logistics platform which enables them to operate and manage their gift cards, cell phone top-ups and money transfer operations.
We provide, and process for you, a closed loop branded gift card solution. Our expertise includes both new platform set-ups and conversions. Our platform aims to replace old-fashioned paper gift vouchers with electronic or mobile gift cards. It includes the issuing of both B2C and B2B cards, as well as the acquiring of the online transactions coming from the integrated cash registers – a kind of small ERP SAP-like system dedicated to your closed loop gift card program. The platform is as easy to use for you, as it is for all participants in your organization, from CFO to marketing intern. You can easily and effectively manage your gift card program from a single dashboard, as well as design cards, manage your inventory and orders, and B2B invoices and payments. You can also produce reports and analyze the system’s data.
We provide, and process for you, a prepaid top-up platform that includes a web-based back office tool to manage your chain stores or your dealers and resellers accounts, and set multiple discount rates for the products in a defined catalog. Volume Driven
The Ogloba platform is designed to make maximum use of both vertical and horizontal scaling. One platform handles many millions of top-ups per week, with an unbeatable 150 ms online-transaction time, and processes a daily reconciliation of every POS with the central server. Large retail chains, as well as prepaid e-distributors, are using Ogloba eW, including the largest top-up operation in the Middle East.
Cash Collection
The cash collection and credit assignment system allows network management of prepaid cash deposits and credit terms for selling PIN codes, top-up credits or scratch cards. This is particularly effective in markets where wholesalers do not wish to grant credit risk, or want to limit their credit risk to a pre-determined amount. It is a fully integrated solution using all the platform’s functionalities, including managing different commission levels for merchants. Merchants receive their commissions immediately as a rebate on the purchased amount.

You will join a team operating as a business unit of Ogloba and Central Group to develop a new product line contribution.
Based in Bangkok, you will participate in rolling-out “Woodoos”, a digital and game-changing program in the booming sector of gift cards and e-vouchers.
